IMT's strong presence in the Chicago-Peoria area gives us the advantage
of superior traffic efficiency and faster turn around times. We maintain
daily schedules between Chicago, Lemont, Joliet and Channahon, with
a weekly schedule between Lemont and Peoria.

Our three fleeting areas are strategically located to offer you the
flexibility of turning your line boats at whichever point on the upper
Illinois River best suits your needs. Our fleet of retractable pilothouse
towboats, up to 2600 horsepower, is powerful enough to handle your
tows, yet small enough to deliver barges to terminals.
