Waterways Operators Responsible Carrier Program. AWO is recognized
by the U.S. Coast Guard code of “best practices” in safety
and environmental protection that encompasses every aspect of fleet
operations. The program requires IMT standards to exceed those required
by federal law or regulation. IMT, with the effort of AWO, is committed
to marine safety and environmental protection.
